Primary Classroom Assistant

We're looking for a passionate Montessori Primary Assistant who will:

  • Work with the lead Guide (teacher) to create a warm, inspiring learning environment where children flourish

You might be our perfect fit if you have:

  • A genuine love for guiding primary-aged (3 - 6 year old) learners through their journey of discovery

  • Strong communication skills and a warm, engaging presence

  • An open-minded, team-oriented approach with colleagues and families

  • Can stay calm while multitasking

  • Has an eye for order and beauty

  • Ready to learn more about the Montessori method

  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

  • Experience working as an assistant in an AMI Montessori classroom preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

Details to know:

  • We are looking for someone to join us for the 2026/27 school year, starting on July 27, 2026.

  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with work available over the two-month summer break.

  • We are seeking dedicated individuals who want to grow with us! The position has the potential for sponsorship to Montessori teacher training.

  • Compensation commensurate with experience.
